Cinemem

Cinemem does not collect, store, or share any personal data on a server. Everything you log — movies, dates, places, people, ratings, and notes — is stored only on your own device, using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData). There is no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no way for Cinemem or anyone else to see what you've logged.
The only network requests Cinemem makes are to search for movies and fetch their details (title, poster, release year, and similar) when you're logging a memory, sourced from TMDb (The Movie Database). These requests are routed through a small proxy service that the app's developer operates, which forwards them to TMDb — this exists so the app doesn't need to embed a TMDb credential directly.
The only information sent in that request is the movie title or keyword you type into the search field, in transit through that proxy on its way to TMDb. The proxy does not log or store the contents of those requests. Cinemem does not send your name, device identifier, location, or any of your journal entries to TMDb, the proxy, or any other server.

Cinemem also downloads poster artwork for movies you view, from TMDb's image CDN (image.tmdb.org), and saves a copy of each poster on your device so it doesn't need to re-download the same image every time it's shown. This cached artwork is stored locally only, and is deleted if you delete the app.
All journal data — movies you've logged, dates, places, people, ratings, notes — is stored locally on your device only, using Apple's SwiftData framework. It is never uploaded to a server operated by Cinemem, because no such server exists. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it; Cinemem has no separate backend copy to also delete.
The app's Settings screen also offers a "Delete all data" action that permanently erases every memory, person and place from your device.
Cinemem does not share any data with third parties, does not display ads, and does not use analytics or tracking SDKs of any kind. The app contains no third-party software development kits at all.
Cinemem does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data from anyone.
If a future version of the app adds a feature that changes any of the above — for example an optional account or cloud backup — this policy will be updated before that feature ships, and the update will be reflected in the app's Settings screen.
